Gothic Rock Band Another Tale was founded in 1988 by Frank Peter Hermsen, DT Hügen and Horst Leis as an experimental project releasing “songs About Dreams and Tears”.
Between 1990 and 1995, after various line-up changes in the band, the albums “Nightmare Voices”, “Into The Dawn” and “Chords In Blue” were released. The albums “Once” and “Frozen eyes” followed between 1998 and 2001.
After the tragic death of Frank Peter Hermsen in 2002 Another Tale was buried in December 2003 with a R.I.P. Festival at the STAR CLUB.
In 2016, former musicians of different decades in band’s history joined for a reunion of Another Tale, followed by successful appearances at various festivals in Germany including Dark Skies over Witten, which is where we finally got to see them.
December 2022 saw the release of “Past and Present “a best of album including new recordings of previously unreleased tracks, all-time favourites, live versions and 2 brand new songs, which may get played at CorrosionFest ’23.
