Time to catch up with another great couple of weeks for releases;
Corrosionfest 2022 headliners Balaam and the Angel have a brilliant new EP out, entitled Forces of Evil. It’s the first new music from the band in 30 years and they are currently on tour promoting it. Make sure you catch them! We most certainly will be!!
Bloodworm – Depths. The brilliant 2nd release from one of the stand out acts of Bats in the attic 2024.
The Scarlet Hour – Pursuit. The new EP from the CorrosionFest 2024 Saturday openers, celebrated the release with a headline slot at Carpe Noctum a few days ago.
Deathtrippers – who released a new EP, Higher, at the start of October which is rather good.
SJÖBLOM – Dead of Night the terrific new album featuring Johan, the frontman and backstage troubadour of The Exploding Boy (Official), together with Robert Eklind, formerly of Malaise.
Drave – Drave. A new young goth/post punk band we ventured over to Wolverhampton to see a few weeks ago and can’t recommend enough. This is their 2nd single release and they are actually releasing their 3rd track, Godless, this Friday.
Bloody/bath – In An Empty Space I’m Screaming. The debut album from these Northampton Post Punks, we saw it played live at the release party 10 or so days ago and it is another great release. They were supported by DEAFDEAFDEAF a Manchester post punk band who we would also recommend checking out.
Hurtsfall – Lost Souls (driving at night). The ace new single from Nottingham’s Goth & Soul’rs.
