Today we are excited to welcome Darkways to CorrosionFest 2026 in Morecambe this March!
Darkways are a darkwave/post-punk project from Barcelona in Spain, blending synth-driven textures with elements of rock and post-punk that pull from both vintage and modern influences, a sound which has gained traction within the European alternative scene.
They have just released their new album Rust (January 2026), a set of tracks that reflects on time, memory and decay, and shows how far their sound has grown since their earlier releases.
We caught them live at Dark Skies Over Witten in 2025 and immediately asked them to play — their set was that good. Now they make their way to Morecambe to bring that same energy to CorrosionFest, so make you are there to catch their set and give them a proper welcome.
We hope you will agree they are another great example of how our festivals continues to showcase international acts making their first UK appearances.
