We’re pleased to introduce Der Himmel (formerly Der Himmel Über Berlin), playing CorrosionFest 2026 in Morecambe this year.
Der Himmel are a deathrock/post-punk band from Trieste, Italy, rooted in classic influences such as Bauhaus, Joy Division, The Sisters of Mercy and Christian Death — driven guitars, strong rhythms and an energy that hits hard live.
Active for years, they’ve built a solid catalogue including Memories Never Fade, Shadowdancers, the Emesys EP, and more recent albums Amnesia and Chinese Voodoo Dolls, each showcasing their blend of post-punk and deathrock.
We caught them live at Black Spring Liège Festival 2025 and were impressed enough to book them on the spot. Now they’re heading to Morecambe for CorrosionFest.
