Opening the very first CorrosionFest were Doncaster's John Merrick's Remains.

The band have been part of the Yorkshire gothic and dark alternative scene for many years, with a sound mixing electronic rock, industrial influences and theatrical horror imagery.

Their catalogue includes releases such as Dark City EP, alongside a substantial collection of recordings stretching back through the band's history.

For CorrosionFest 2020, they appeared in the Jools and Bob incarnation of the band, delivering a solid opening set and getting our first festival underway.
