Preston's Sometime The Wolf brought a heavier, atmospheric style of gothic rock to the first festival.

Their sound combined layered guitars, powerful rhythms and melodic vocals, with their albums Never Wake and From Here and Earth demonstrating a band equally comfortable with traditional goth influences and a more contemporary, heavier approach.

Sadly, Sometime The Wolf have since split, although their music and connections to the scene have continued through other projects.

Members went on to form All My Thorns, who would later play CorrosionFest 2024, while vocalist Drew also performs with German gothic rock band Sweet Ermengarde.
