Unquiet Dead
Bedfordshire, UK · Gothic Industrial
A two-piece combining heavy guitar, industrial electronics and layered female vocals. Their releases included Unquiet Dead (2017) and Anima Ignis (2019).
Unquiet Dead were one of the less well known acts on the first CorrosionFest lineup, but their performance certainly made an impression.
The Bedfordshire two-piece combined heavy, distorted guitars and industrial electronics with the remarkable vocals of Lora Maze, creating a sound that was difficult to fit neatly into any one genre.
Their 2017 self-titled album and 2019 follow-up Anima Ignis mixed gothic rock, industrial and alternative influences, sometimes moving from atmospheric passages into something considerably heavier.
Their performance at CorrosionFest was mesmerising and remains one of the standout memories of all of the festivals.
Sadly, Unquiet Dead have since split, but their recorded music is still available.
