Coming down on Thursday for pre festival drinks, here’s where we are meeting, with thanks to Alex Wetton :
Bats in the Attic Early Birds day is almost upon is! Normally the team would meet up and eat then head to The Bath and meet up with the early birds and have a jolly good time and Russ would give is a free jukebox. Unfortunately The Bath is only The Bath by name now, it is now an expensive posh chowder selling fish smelling rock free posh zone that never looks busy and always looks shut in the week. 🙁 So we will not be going there unless it reverts to a Rock pub but I don’t see it happening any time soon.
This year things have had to change and the plan is now to meet at Wetherspoons for food at 6:30pm everyone is welcome we will be upstairs (probably). Then on to 1866, the pub not the year! It has recently reopened and seems quiet friendly the few times I have been in in the week. It even has an area that would be good to put a band on if we grow enough to make that worthwhile.
