Welcome to the first of our band previews where we are thrilled to welcome Scheitan – Gothic Rock Band from Sweden to CorrosionFest 2026 in Morecambe!
Scheitan are a gothic rock band from northern Sweden who have returned after a long hiatus.
They have been steadily building momentum in the goth scene. Originally an extreme metal project in the 90s, they have transitioned into a melodic goth rock sound. After a 24-year break they came back with the album Songs for the Gothic People in 2024 and have followed it up with Wine for the Tormented Soul released in December 2025.
Their recent single “Döden är helt underbar” marks their first release in Swedish, earning airplay on Swedish national radio.
This year they make the trip to the UK for their CorrosionFest debut, taking the opening Friday slot. So come and join us in Morecambe and help give them a proper welcome.
