CorrosionFest 2027 – MEET THE BANDS

This time last week the doors had opened for Bats in the Attic and we were at the start of what turned out to be an incredible weekend.

A week later, it’s time to turn our attention towards March and introduce the 12 bands joining us for CorrosionFest 2027.

FRIDAY

Another Tale – Germany
Returning after playing CorrosionFest 2023, this time to headline Friday. They’ve been around for an incredible 39 years, bringing proper old-school German gothic rock.

Dawn After Dark – UK
Formed in Birmingham in the 80s, they reformed after nearly 30 years apart and finally released their debut album in 2021.

We Are Waves – Italy
Darkwave/post-punk from Turin. We saw them at Dark Skies Over Witten this year, loved them live and knew we wanted them in Morecambe.

They Die – Italy
Darkwave/post-punk with a darker electronic edge and one of the newer discoveries on the bill.

SATURDAY

Ductape – Turkey
Our Saturday headliners. Formed in Istanbul and now based in France, they’ve built a great reputation across the European darkwave/post-punk scene.

Two Witches (Official) – Finland
Finnish gothic rock veterans celebrating an incredible 40 years at CorrosionFest 2027.

KORINTHIANS – Belgium
Back after first playing for us in 2023. They’ve since returned to the UK several times and we’re delighted to welcome them back.

Maschinist – Germany
Neue Deutsche Härte and industrial rock. We saw them at Castle Rock in Germany and they really impressed us live.

Bonnie Trash – Canada
Canadian “gothgaze”. We saw them in Sheffield last year and they absolutely blew us away.

The Medea Project – South Africa/UK
Dark, heavy and somewhere around gothic rock, doom and metal.

Fright Night – Poland
Goth, rock, punk and horror, with several previous UK appearances including Carpe Noctum.

The Exceptional Mr Hyde – UK
Punk, post-punk, goth and electro-punk. Our 2026 standby band, this time getting their own place on stage.

Two days. Twelve bands. Nine countries.

Where goth is the core, but not the boundary.

12th & 13th March 2027
Alhambra Theatre, Morecambe
