Ghost Dance are an English gothic rock band formed in 1985 by Gary Marx (ex-Sisters of Mercy guitarist) and Anne-Marie Hurst (ex-Skeletal Family vocalist). The band initially signed to Karbon Records, then later to Chrysalis Records, before disbanding in 1989 after releasing a number of singles and the “Stop the World” album.
In 2019, the band reformed with Hurst joined by new members and began writing and recording new material. This resulted in the album “The Silent Shout,” released in 2023 and numerous shows to promote the release
